The Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner will join a dedicated healthcare team to provide specialized cardiac care. Responsibilities include performing vein harvesting, assisting in operating room cases, and providing clinical support in the CVICU. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible with significant experience and proficient in necessary medical technologies.
Our client is looking to add a Cardiovascular APP to their team ASAP!
Schedule: Full-time starting 6/6/2024
- Monday to Friday; 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- One clinic day per week (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Four inpatient/OR days per week
- Call:
- First call (ICU, ED, Outpatient)
- Weeknight/weekend call divided amongst three APPs
- Vein call divided amongst three APPs
Responsibilities:
- Perform vein harvesting; candidates must be proficient in vein taking
- Assist in OR cases (3-8 cases per week)
- Provide clinical support in the CVICU (10-bed unit)
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
- Active Michigan license, DEA, and CSR preferred
- Minimum of 50 cases within 12 months
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC/Dragon EMR and dictation tools
- Not considering new grads
Additional Requirements:
- All Medical Schools must be on the California Approved List
- All Residencies & Fellowships must be ACGME Approved
- No large malpractice issues
- Clean NPDB
- Three professional references within 18 months
