An Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in need of urgent attention at hospital facilities. The role requires specific licenses, certifications, and on-going availability to meet the demand for shifts across multiple hospital settings. Successful candidates will possess expertise in emergency medicine and familiarity with electronic medical records systems, alongside the flexibility to work varied hours.
- Work Dates Needed: ongoing, 6+ shifts per month
- Preferred Schedule: Mon-Wed: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, & 8p-6a Thurs, Fri, & Sun: 6a-5p, 10a-9p, 3p-2a, & 8p-6a Sat: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, & 8p-6a
- Worksite Setting: 3 Hospitals and 1 FSED
- Scope of Work: Emergency Medicine;
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BE/BC; ACLS, ATLS & BLS required for FM, ATLS required for EM can be expired but must show proof of previously having ATLS.
- EMR: EPIC; no scribe coverage
- Pay Rate Preferred: $285 per hour
- Residency's Accepted: Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
- Backup Specialties? Robust specialties on site at main campus
- 30-60 days for temps
- 4 hour remote EMR training (mainly offered on Mondays only) & Hospital orientation with shadow shift
