Opportunity Details

• Position: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
• Setting: Hospital
• Location: Guymon, OK
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Schedule: 36-hour work week (flexible scheduling)
• Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage patient treatment plans, including administering inhalants, operating ventilators, therapeutic gas apparatus, and aerosol generators.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage, assist with breathing exercises, and monitor physiological responses such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry.
• Assess and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care.
• Provide recommendations for assistive equipment and outpatient/home health programs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment outcomes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma State Respiratory Therapy License (RRT or CRT)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• NBRC Registration (Preferred)
• Minimum of two years’ experience in LTAC and/or ICU settings
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
