A Massage Therapist administers therapeutic massage and provides services at rehabilitation sites in accordance with established techniques and standards. They are educated and certified in massage therapy and must hold or be eligible for a state license, along with having experience in the field. Essential duties include performing various massage techniques, ensuring safety and hygiene practices, and assisting in marketing efforts as needed.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Administers therapeutic massage in accordance with prescribed standards and techniques. Provides massage therapy at ECHN rehab sites.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
· Graduate of an accredited school of massage therapy.
· Must hold or is eligible for Ct license and have one year progressive experience in massage therapy.
