Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of medical malpractice and insurance defense matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and witness depositions.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in court proceedings.

Qualifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice and/or insurance defense litigation.
• Strong litigation skills, including case management, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
