About the Team The Technical Program Manager role is a part of a newly established team at Nutanix, focused on enhancing the product vulnerability program. The team is located remotely, targeting candidates within North America, specifically in the United States and Canada. The mission of this team is to streamline and strengthen the processes related to vulnerability management, ensuring that the organization effectively addresses and remediates security vulnerabilities. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, who leads with a focus on coaching and developing team members while promoting teamwork across various disciplines. The manager values open communication and supports individuals in their career growth. The work setup for this role is entirely remote, with no requirement for in-office attendance, allowing flexibility in your work environment. This role does not require any travel, enabling you to focus on your responsibilities without the need for commuting or off-site meetings. Your Role Identify and prioritize incoming vulnerabilities from scans and penetration testing. Collaborate with architects and staff engineers to ensure accountability in vulnerability remediation. Streamline and manage internal and external vulnerability tracking processes. Integrate security tools into the CI/CD pipeline as needed. Support the development of a comprehensive vulnerability management program. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and security. Manage and influence across internal and external teams to ensure on-time deliverables What You Will Bring 6+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 2 years of engineering experience. Strong experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills while fostering a collaborative team environment. The ability to prioritize and make decision regarding security controls. Foundational knowledge in at least one general-purpose coding language (e.g., Python, Java, Go). Experience of integrating tools into CI/CD pipelines. Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization Experience identifying and resolving complex issues Experience in security incident response and management (nice to have). The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $148,000 and USD $ 296,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
