Overview:

The Principal Program Lead, International Strategic Projects, is responsible for managing the various programs and strategic projects within the Americas division of the International business unit. The objectives of this role will be to support the division and team members within a matrix environment in the successful delivery of strategic projects and initiatives, leveraging program and project management skills, resources, and expertise. This role reports to the division leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with function leaders and division team members to drive progress on programs and strategic projects
  • Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the division, including work with stakeholders to gather input
  • Lead quarterly plan reviews within the division
  • Partner with division team members to develop long-term roadmaps and annual plans for the division
  • Manage strategic projects, including new market entry, infrastructure development, and change management
  • Participate as a member of Area Support Teams to provide project management and support as needed
  • Develop content to support strategic decisions and to inform stakeholders
  • Provide support as needed for annual events where division strategy and initiatives are discussed
  • Work with International leaders and International PMO team members on projects as needed
  • Support the division leader with additional projects and initiatives as needed
  • Facilitate process-mapping sessions as needed to determine how business units operate
  • Coordinate and facilitate work between multiple teams without directly managing them
  • Utilize project management skills and techniques to develop plans, monitor progress, and drive timelines
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in Program/project management
  • Exceptional skills with project management processes, systems, and tools
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence
  • Exceptional at planning, prioritization, organization, and time management
  • Ability to make connections between distinct functional workstreams
  • Ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex information
  • A self-starter that takes initiative and needs minimal oversight
  • A quick learner capable of developing an understanding of multiple functions
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and drive progress when information is limited
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
  • System and process orientation
  • Excellent listening and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and programs quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years experience
  • Experience in a Matrix environment
  • Project management certifications
