We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to take the lead on critical civil engineering elements for utility-scale solar and BESS projects for join our client's Rapidly growing team. From stormwater management and grading design to SWPPP permitting , you’ll play a pivotal role in driving high-quality project execution. As the Civil Engineer, you’ll oversee technical teams, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and directly influence project success.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead Civil Engineering Design: Develop and stamp designs for erosion control, grading, stormwater management, and access road layouts.
- SWPPP Expertise: Ensure compliance with permitting requirements and create robust solutions for environmental and regulatory needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor engineering teams, delegate tasks, and oversee technical deliverables.
- Technical Oversight: Conduct detailed engineering analyses, energy modeling, and final design reviews.
- Client Engagement: Act as the technical interface between clients, contractors, and project managers, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Project Collaboration: Work on up to 10–12 projects simultaneously, ranging from site assessments to final commissioning, in various locations across the U.S.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D , grading, hydrology, and drainage design.
- Proven experience with SWPPP permitting and gravel road design.
- Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and develop appropriate design responses.
- Proficiency with construction drawings, electrical schematics, and renewable energy systems (solar and BESS).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience managing engineering teams.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and energy modeling software.
Preferred:
- Certification in NABCEP PV Installation or related renewable energy credentials.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
- OSHA-10 or related safety certifications.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Advanced training in renewable energy and related technologies is a plus.
