CJR Renewables is looking for an Estimator to join our team in Houston office. The Estimator will be responsible for the preparation of proposals for utility scale renewable energy projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Analyze plans/drawings, technical specifications, site conditions and other RFP documents
• Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials and performance of tasks not being self-performed
• Analyze regional labor rates and per diems to be used in the estimates
• Prepare time, cost, and labor estimates ensuring compliance with all RFP requirements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCad preferred.
• General understanding of cost estimates
• Estimating experience of renewable energy projects strongly preferred.
• Experience with proposal preparation strongly preferred.
