The Executive Assistant to the President/CEO will at all times maintain a spirit and standard of excellence in ministry and put the mission’s purposes ahead of personal agendas, while upholding the name of Jesus Christ.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Executive Assistant to the President/CEO must be a self-starter who can plan, organize, administrate and complete work with limited oversight. The traits of Christ-centered, godly, servant-leadership, integrity, decision-making, problem-solving, creativity, visionary, friendliness, confidentiality, flexibility, hospitality, helpfulness, and the ability to meet deadlines and set priorities are necessary for this position.
GENERAL LEADERSHIP DUTIES
Ø Receive, prioritize and organize job assignments from President by phone and e-mail
Ø Coordinate executive meetings in person, via telephone and Zoom.
Ø Facilitate relationship-building through managing written presidential correspondence
Ø Interact with people via phone and email regarding items relating particular to the president
Ø Update President weekly on the implementation and status of travel, contacts and projects.
Ø Maintain an electronic and paper file system
Ø Coordinate the shipping of ministry resources to President’s speaking engagements.
Ø Keep confidentiality of president, pastors, constituents, and colleagues
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
Computer Software Applications: Microsoft Suite
Education: BA College Degree or higher and at least 3 years managerial experience.
