Job Description

The candidate is expected to perform the following routine functions:
Develop new business opportunities for the companys core offerings centered around aeronautical wind tunnels
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain the companys products and services to customers and prospective customers.
Collaborate with the engineering team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
Generate high-quality sales leads, follow up after initial meeting, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Develop technical and commercial proposals for clients and negotiate contracts to secure new contracts.
Coordinate with the engineering team to develop cost estimates in support of proposals
Provide technical training and support to customers and assist in the resolution of any customer issues or concerns.
Provide regular sales forecasts to management, and work towards meeting or exceeding sales targets.

3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or equivalent role, preferably in either the Aerospace, Industrial Machinery, or Construction industries
BS/BA Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other associated field
Experience with complex multi-million dollar projects
Experience in account management
Experience with and knowledge of wind tunnels and associated systems is preferred.
Proven track record in technical sales and business development
Strong technical writing skills
Strong contract negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical topics
Proper interpretation of design specifications, drawings, and schematics
Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Word Processing software
Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to exceed sales targets
Good time management skills, high work ethics
