Account Director (AD) to join our dynamic team and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, bridging their goals with TEA's expertise in power and gas markets.

What You'll Do Client Services:
- Cultivate and oversee productive, harmonious relationships between TEA and assigned clients, ensuring seamless collaboration across all operational touchpoints.
- Align TEA's portfolio management services with client goals by deeply understanding client values, assets, and competitive pressures.
- Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to provide clients with actionable insights and opportunities for portfolio optimization, including a deep understanding of Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) and their unique products and protocols, national and international trends impacting power and natural gas pricing, local, state, and federal regulatory developments, and micro and macro economic data.
- Collaborate with clients to establish energy risk management frameworks, oversee trading strategies, and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.
- Drive client satisfaction by continuously enhancing communication, addressing feedback, and educating clients on industry trends and TEA services.
Leadership:
- Serve as a thought leader, delivering an integrated and professional client experience across TEA's service lines.
- Lead cross-functional teams in trading, analytics, and settlements to develop innovative, customized solutions for client needs.
- Provide direct feedback to TEA leadership on service quality and contribute to the strategic growth of client relationships and business initiatives.
- Manage the seamless integration of new clients, from process documentation to executive reporting.
Business Development:
- Expand TEA's footprint by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing plans, craft compelling proposals, and represent TEA at industry and client events.
- Take ownership of commercial relationships, including scope definition, fee negotiation, and contract profitability.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance TEA's offerings, improve cost efficiency, and ensure pricing aligns with market standards and client needs.
What You Bring - A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, economics, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- A proven track record with 10+ years of experience in the energy industry, particularly within Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) such as NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP, MISO, or PJM.
- Demonstrated success in financial and physical commodity markets, client relationship management, and full-cycle business development.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-departmental initiatives and navigate complex challenges.
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites and industry events to maintain and grow relationships.
