8:00am - 5:00pm

5-day work week with alternating Saturdays

Rich Ford is seeking to hire a Rental Administrator / Customer Service to provide a premium rental experience for our valuable customers while maximizing sales and service opportunities . This person will be an agent rarely but mainly maintain the fleet with washes, vacuums, and fueling. Responsibilities - Rental Administrator
/ Customer Service :

  • Greet customers at the rental desk a pleasant, professional manner, answer ringing phones with a professional greeting every time and provide high quality service to every customer.
  • Make sure rental agreements are filled-in completely and accurately and adhere to Ford's rental policy requirements for maintaining documents, FRAC and CTP programs perimeters etc.
  • Utilize all customer qualification tools and procedures provided and collect amount due for damage to the vehicle.
  • Learn, understand and adopt the Rich Ford Vision Boards and their principals
  • Read, understand and follow the Rich Ford Employee Handbook
  • Maintain work areas, ensuring a clean and professional appearance
  • Wear approved uniform to each shift, ensuring a clean and professional appearance
  • Maintain a positive, approachable attitude when working with internal and external customers/co-workers and maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
  • Develop and exhibit good problem-solving skills, including solving concerns and resolving conflict with customers or co-workers without having to involve management
  • Clean and stage rental
  • Inspect the vehicle for damage before and after rental and arrange and rack vehicle repair, detailing, and maintenance.
  • Compute customer bills, receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from the customers; record the amount received, and make change and issue receipts to customers.
  • Maintain records in TSD, files rental forms; list missing documents, secure location customers ID and insurance cards and Secure deposit on every rental transaction .
  • Ensure all invoices and PO's are turned into office regularly and by month end and closes all open invoices.
  • Reconcile gas purchase statements.
  • Provide clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements - Rental Administrator / Customer Service:

  • At least 1 year of Sales / Rental experience preferred.
  • Good communication, customer service and sales skills
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Good computer and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve customer issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
