South Palm Beach County, Florida, Proton Therapy Medical Director Opening
  • Clinical Role:

    • Seeking a Board Certified or truly board eligible Radiation Oncologist
    • Required: Medical Degree & Residency from Accredited University
    • Required: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an established proton center
    • Prior experience as proton center Director is preferred
    • Organizational and clinical leadership Responsibilities:
      • Developing proton clinical protocols
      • Oversee training of other staff radiation oncologists
      • Participation in departmental administrative initiatives and meetings
      • Supporting clinical research
      • Engaging the surrounding medical community
      • Maintain highest standards and keep abreast of the latest treatment indications for delivery of proton therapy for patients
    • Full support and collaboration with well-established partner cancer institute
    • Equipment:
      • The ProteusONE (anticipated in the 1st quarter of 2025) which delivers an elegant, compact proton therapy solution
      • The Machine will be Flash and Dynamic Arc ready
    • The Proton facility is attached to an existing state of the art cancer center
