The client is seeking a Senior Director of Development for The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, which is part of Florida State University. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a personal solicitation program to secure philanthropic support for The Ringling. This includes identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-level prospects in a campaign setting. The Senior Director of Development will focus on securing annual private support at the major gift level, as well as managing a portfolio of donors primarily giving $1,000,000 and above.The Senior Director of Development will play a key role in supporting the legacy of John and Mable Ringling by raising funds for The Ringling, an institution dedicated to art, architecture, and circus. Reporting to the clients leadership team, the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising initiatives to meet the museums financial goals. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, as well as experience in major gift fundraising and donor stewardship.The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing major gifts and managing donor relationships in a nonprofit or cultural institution setting.
