Overview
How You'll Make an Impact
Epsilon is seeking a skilled Employee Relations Manager to join our Human Resources Operations team. This role involves managing various activities related to employee relations, such as performance management, corrective action, discipline, and grievance resolution procedures. The Employee Relations Manager will provide expertise and guidance to ensure a healthy work environment, foster effective communication, and address employee performance concerns. The Employee Relations Manager will have significant experience in employee relations, along with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
The Employee Relations Manager will report to the Director of Human Resources (HR) Audit and Compliance. The Employee Relations Manager will work closely with Epsilon's employee population, HR Business Partners, Learning and Organizational Development, and Epsilon's legal counsel. This is a hybrid role based in either Chicago, IL or Irving, TX.
What You'll Achieve
  • Ensure that Epsilon treats every employee fairly and respectfully, in alignment with our core values and performance standards, while maintaining consistent application and understanding of policies throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with legal, HR, and leadership to develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures related specifically to employee relations and performance plans.
  • Work in partnership with L&OD to develop and conduct training programs on conflict resolutions, communication skills, and performance management.
  • Provide coaching and support to HR and leaders to ensure a consistent approach in handling employee relations matters and managing disputes.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances and provide appropriate recommendations for resolution.
  • Provide a written summary and specific recommendations as a result of their investigations.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, HR, and Management, providing guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Provide training to new team members on the approach to employee relations.
  • Work closely with the HR team to analyze surveys and feedback across the organization.
  • Analyze the data and provide trends around employee experiences and areas where the organization will require focus, including performance concerns.
Who You Are
  • What you'll bring with you:
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
    • 5+ years in direct experience in employee relations, human resources or employment/labor law with an emphasis on employee relations work
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills; ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR)
Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
