The CEO must be adept at managing a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of performance and accountability, and establishing high-trust partnerships with key stakeholders. The role also involves external representation of the company with community organizations, donors, legislators, and other healthcare entities. The CEO will be expected to be visible, approachable, and personally invested in building collaborative relationships across the system, with physicians, staff, and the community.
