You WillOperate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean & safe environmentMonitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containersTroubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenanceAssure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensionsJoin with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reductionGrow your skills through formal & side-by-side training, and have opportunities for career advancement
You HaveAbility to work 12 hour shifts. Days: 7A-7P or Nights: 7P-7A or 8 hour shifts!A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume productionWorking knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferredAbility to troubleshoot & problem solveAbility to use hand tools to perform mechanical tasksAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
