Pay: $40k-$80k ( DOE)
Responsibilities:
Fire Alarm Systems: Install, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes.
Testing: Perform functional tests on fire alarm systems to verify their operability.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with fire alarm systems, including false alarms, malfunctions, and power outages.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed, including inspection reports, test results, and repair documentation.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, building relationships, and addressing their concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a fire service technician.
Certifications: Valid FL fire alarm technician license or certification, NICET I Certification.
Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fire alarm system design, installation, and maintenance practices.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders.
