About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join its Executive Team. The CNO will be the Chief Nurse executive, responsible for providing leadership and coordinating activities that ensure high-quality patient care in line with system-wide nursing practices and standards. This role involves fostering an interdisciplinary team approach, creating a collaborative environment, and leading the implementation of a patient care delivery model. The CNO will also be accountable for the consistency of patient care standards, and the development of evidence-based policies and programs, and will serve as the primary liaison to the medical staff for clinical issues. Collaboration with key stakeholders to meet and improve the quality of care and regulatory requirements is essential.Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have a Bachelor's in Nursing, a Master's degree in a related field, and current RN licensure in the State of Florida. A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a hospital setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a background in quality management, medical management, administration, operational finance, and leadership, with a preference for those who have experience in opening a new hospital. The CNO will be responsible for strategic and tactical planning for nursing services, as well as for the recruitment, retention, and recognition of excellence in nursing. The role also involves participation in the company's strategic planning and the establishment of relationships with external stakeholders.
