SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Customer Service Sales, the Customer Service Sales Manager will provide direct customer contact with the intent to increase sales and level of customer service within an assigned territory. Extensive domestic and international travel is required. (Approximately 50 %)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
•Maintain principle contact with all customers in assigned geographic territory with the goal to increase sales while, promoting the attributes of the DFJ Customer Service Organization.
•Be knowledgeable of territory including local industry events.
•Maintain customer contact information in Siebel.
•Develop and analyze new sales opportunities.
•Initiate a business relationship with each customer in assigned geographic territory.
•Contributes to the creation of marketing programs by gathering and reporting available information from ASC's, Falcon operators, competitors and other available market data.
•Responsible for attainment of sales objectives within assigned geographic territory.
•Promote Dassault affiliate companies.
•Inform customers of all new programs and special promotions.
•Actively participate in the preparation and sales of provisioning orders within territory.
•Travel to customer's facilities, trade shows and any off site meetings.
•Attend industry trade shows which may include local, national or international events.
•Follow up with customers on outstanding quotations.
•Assist in the development of a territory sales plan.
•Ability to manage assigned territory to ensure every customer is visited twice each calendar year in accordance with territory sales plan.
•Independently negotiate adjusted sales prices to be competitive in the market.
•Answer or direct customers inquire in a timely and accurate manner.
•Make proactive sales contacts and follow up calls.
•DFJ liaison to Dassault MRO sales team.
•Coordinate interdepartmental correspondence relating to the timely delivery of spares.
•Assist in the development of Spares Special Programs.
•Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
•Seven (7) years sales experience preferably in aviation or aerospace
•Five (5) years inside sales, aircraft parts or aircraft maintenance experience
•Familiar with Automated Order Entry Systems
•Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a professional manner
•Intermediate knowledge of current PC-based business software, preferably Microsoft Office including Access
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Exceptional Organizational and follow up skills
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Outside Business-to-Business sales experience
•Previous Power by the Hour or Aircraft Program Sales
•Advanced Degree in Business (Sales, Marketing, and Finance)
•A & P license or Pilot's license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
•Ability to work flexible hours
•Extensive travel required which may include weekends
•Office environment may consist of shared space and/or home office
•Use of personal computer required
•Travel will be via scheduled airline or car (mileage on personal auto reimbursed) within assigned geographic territory.
