Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is currently hiring an API QA Engineer, for an established client in the Denver area. Ideal candidates will have the experience below, please note only qualified applicants will be contacted.

Skill level: 2+ years’ experience

The ideal candidate will:

• 2+ years of Automation Testing experience, specifically testing API layers, microservices and applications utilizing web services, GraphQL is a huge plus.
• Experience with Automation Testing and mobile testing using: Postman, Karate, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks
• Programming skills with: Java, Gherkin, or JavaScript
• Ability to perform Functional Testing, Regression, Smoke/Sanity and Integration testing
• Understanding of version control systems like Git to collaborate with development teams effectively
• Experience in Performance Testing: Gatling, Load Runner
• Be able to accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules in an Agile software development environment
• Possess knowledge of web functionality and HTML
• Possess a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Be flexible and able to adapt to any given situation
• Have a customer-focused attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Have the ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions
• Make timely and sound decisions
• Be able to multi-task in an effective manner and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Work well in either a team setting or independently, producing required results without close supervision
• Have the ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
• Be self-motivated, requiring limited supervision or direction
• Manage information and data in a confidential and professional manner
