Job Description Position: Customer Service Representative (CSR) Location : Spencer, IA
Shift : Monday-Friday, Saturdays could be required.
Shift Times : 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay : $18.00/hour
Job Duties: - Manage the inbound and outbound shipments and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Audit outbound shipments and verify inventory counts.
- Enter and update data in databases to track, trace, and update the status of shipments.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, drivers, and co-workers professionally and respectfully.
- Handle inbound calls and respond to customer requests in a positive and professional manner.
- Assign inbound trucks to designated dock doors and maintain customer stored materials files.
- Verify received documents once materials are received and entered into computer systems.
- Resolve customer issues using appropriate computer systems and follow up on unresolved inquiries.
- Maintain call logs, reports, and communicate effectively with logistics technicians/dispatchers.
- Train new employees as required and recommend process improvements for company growth.
- Provide backup support to the shipping and receiving departments.
- Perform cleanup duties in the office area at the end of the shift.
- Comply with safety manuals and maintain regular attendance.
Qualifications: - Authorized/eligible to work in the US.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of clerical office or customer service experience; additional education may substitute for work experience.
- Prior experience with SAP and inventory control is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong computer skills, including email and internet usage.
- Proficient data entry skills.
- Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1+ year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP is a plus (willing to train the right candidate).
