The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Account Representative to join our team full-time at our Nashville, TN location. In this role, you will focus on driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting Richards & Richards as a trusted partner for secure shredding solutions.

Key Responsibilities


Client Acquisition and Growth

·        Proactively identify, pursue, and convert leads into customers, building a strong and growing client portfolio.

·        Develop tailored solutions that address client needs, establishing Richards & Richards as the go-to provider for secure shredding services.

·        Lead contract negotiations and successfully close sales with new clients.

·        Account Management and Retention

·        Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering outstanding service and support.

·        Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, fostering loyalty and retention.

·        Proactively address client concerns and implement effective solutions to ensure satisfaction.

·        Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand client accounts and drive revenue.

· Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.

·        Analyze account performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend growth strategies.

·        Collaboration on Reporting

·        Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to deliver seamless client experiences.

·        Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems (Total Recall and HubSpot).

·        Provide regular sales and performance updates to leadership.


Qualifications

·        Proven success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.

·        A self-starter with a competitive drive to win new clients and build lasting partnerships.

·        Strong ability to cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service and trust-building.

·        Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·        Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

·        Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

·        Familiarity with secure shredding services or information security is a plus.

·        Proficiency with CRM tools and sales platforms, including Total Recall and HubSpot.

Education

·        High school diploma or equivalent required.

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
