Job Description
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMM) is an international leader in medical and scientific training, biomedical research, and patient care. It is the medical school for the Mount Sinai Health System, which includes seven hospital campuses, and has more than 5,000 faculty and nearly 2,000 students, residents and fellows.
Under limited supervision, conducts experiments using advanced techniques specific to the research project. Analyzes and assists in interpreting moderately complex results.

• Human Immune Monitoring Center (HIMC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai leverages powerful technology platforms to provide comprehensive immune profiling for a diverse range of clinical and translational research studies. An Associate Researcher Level II will perform assays and be involved in generating large and complex experimental data sets.
• Technical duties: Biospecimen processing and sample management for downstream fit-for-purpose immune profiling; SOP preparation and protocol maintenance; performing assays on platforms such as Olink, Luminex, ELISA and conducting primary data analysis; daily QC and lab maintenance.
• The successful candidate will work with a team of scientists and technicians on projects related to various disease including cancer, IBD, neuroscience etc., to gain deep familiarity with a broad range of complex technologies and biological data types, while making a real impact at the forefront of translational immunology.

• Assists in new and unexpected research experiments and techniques.
• Performs other related duties.
• Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
• May train less-experienced research staff in research techniques and use of equipment.

Qualifications
Education:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or related field.

Experience:

• 2 years in a research environment or 1-year plus Master's Degree in sciences or related field
