Corporate Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
Location: Northwestern Suburbs, IL | Travel: Up to 50% Domestic

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to join their Corporate HR Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance workplace health initiatives in a company that values its people as much as its progress.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to embed safety into the company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations, staying ahead of industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, implement safety measures, and oversee ergonomics programs.
  • Lead safety training programs to engage employees at all levels.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims in collaboration with third-party administrators.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve safety performance.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure preparedness.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and DOT.
  • OSHA training certification (strongly preferred).
  • Experience in ergonomics program development and workers' compensation management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% as required.
