We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to contribute to our organization's financial strategy and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all tax-related activities, including compliance, reporting, planning, and auditing. This role will also involve leading a team and ensuring the company's financial operations are in accordance with local, state, and federal tax laws. The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive problem solver with a strong understanding of corporate tax planning and management.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all tax-related activities, including tax planning and compliance, ensuring all tax returns are accurate and filed on time.2. Lead and manage the tax department, providing guidance and support to team members.3. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.4. Coordinate audits with external auditors, respond to tax notices, and resolve tax disputes.5. Conduct tax research and stay updated on current tax laws and industry trends.6. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial statements and reports.7. Provide tax advice and guidance to the company's management team on business decisions and potential tax implications.8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.2. Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.4. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.5. Proven experience in tax planning, audit and tax, and management.6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.8. Proficient in tax software and other related financial software.9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
