We are seeking a qualified Production Lead to oversee our artisan gelato/ice cream and frozen dessert production. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in the food/dessert industry, great interpersonal and leadership skills, and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• assisting in planning and organizing daily production schedules
• maintaining accuracy of current recipes and developing new recipes
• ensuring that health and safety regulations are met while following food safety and HACCP plans
• overseeing production processes
• ensure QA and QC are meeting company standards daily
• research and development on new desserts/gelato flavors
• selecting, ordering and purchasing ingredients and materials
• supervising the work of production employees
• inspecting products prior to shipment to ensure labeling accuracy and proper record keeping
• assisting with daily production

Qualifications:

• 2+ years previous experience in the dessert industry; baker, pastry chef, ice cream/gelato production, etc.

• Team mentality
• Spanish speaking is a plus

Pay Frequency:

• Weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
