Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. You will play a key role in our organization, contributing significantly to our strategic planning and project development. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to make a substantial impact in a growing company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction estimating, project bidding, budgeting, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze vendor and subcontract proposals to ensure they meet the project's financial and technical requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs to estimate the amount of materials and workforce needed for each project.
• Develop accurate and comprehensive construction estimates, incorporating all costs associated with the project.
• Participate in project bidding, preparing and presenting competitive bids that meet the client's needs and budget.
• Conduct cost analysis, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during the project planning and development phase.
• Monitor and track project costs, ensuring they align with the initial estimates and budget.
• Regularly review and update estimating procedures and cost data to reflect current trends and pricing in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction estimating or a related role.
• Proficient in estimating software and other industry-related technologies.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Proven track record in project bidding, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
