Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance a comprehensive federal grant compliance program that meets all statutory and programmatic requirements, including procurement, cost accounting, timekeeping, reporting, and oversight of subrecipients. Ensure adherence to regulations such as Davis-Bacon and Build America, Buy America.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with DOE Project Officers to maintain a productive and collaborative partnership.
  • Prepare and submit detailed updates and reports to the DOE, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all aspects of grant implementation. Maintain meticulous and well-organized compliance documentation.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with grant compliance. Implement corrective actions effectively when necessary.
  • Visit project sites and company offices to gain first-hand knowledge of the work and ensure compliance standards are upheld on the ground.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in managing and implementing U.S. federal grants, including familiarity with audit processes and corrective actions.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for coursework in Public Affairs, Public Policy, Business, Project Management, or related fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Department of Energy grant programs, regulations, and reporting requirements, as well as familiarity with federal grant systems such as SAM.gov and Grants.gov.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain comprehensive, well-documented compliance processes and records.
