We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Food Manufacturing Industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is skilled in mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and has a solid understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures. The ideal candidate will be adept at complex problem-solving and have a knack for maintaining and improving the efficiency and functionality of our manufacturing equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with:

1. Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
2. Performing preventative maintenance tasks to avert production downtime and maintain optimal performance of machinery.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
4. Collaborating with the production team to understand and rectify manufacturing issues.
5. Developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance.
6. Following all safety protocols and workplace policies.
7. Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work conducted.
8. Staying updated with the latest manufacturing technologies and procedures to enhance performance and safety.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and experience in complex problem-solving.
4. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
5. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
6. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report to management.
7. A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety.
8. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy machinery parts.
9. A technical degree or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
