TACT STAFF is seeking a skilled PACU RN to join our team! As an RN, you will be responsible for the safety, comfort, and carefully monitor a patient's vital signs, assess their levels of consciousness and watch out for any side effects from anesthesia. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, family and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team
• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs and applies critical thinking skills in patient care management
• Contributes to quality and safety practices and required compliance measures
• Monitors and cares for patients recovering from anesthesia in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
Requirements:
• Active NY licensure as a Registered Nurse
• BLS, ACLS, CLS, & PALS.
• EPIC experience
• Minimum 2+ years of post op management/medicated drips experience.
