*** Must have experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital
Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement.
Nurses on this 29-bed unit are skilled in providing comprehensive and specialized nursing care to the acutely ill adult patient who may present with multiple comorbidities, a variety of medical diagnoses, and hemodynamic instability. Specialty populations cared for on the unit include patients with a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, and post lung transplant.
Facility Requirement:
Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs within the facility. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Licensure and Certification:
Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.
BLS must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Telemetry:
Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
