* Department: Radiology Breast Center
* Schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM.

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and anatomy, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*
* Perform mammography examinations using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
* Keep detailed records of patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history.
* Stay updated on advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide the best patient care.
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
* Assist in the training of new staff members or students as needed.

*Qualifications*
* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
* Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
* 1 year of clinical experience in Mammography preferred.
* Meet the Mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2). Preferred.
* ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography required upon hire.
* ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography preferred upon hire.
* ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography required within 12 months of hire.
* CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB required upon hire.
* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 Days of hire required.
