*This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (NOT contract).*



*Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:*
* Participate in the multidisciplinary treatment teams and work collaboratively with other disciplines in planning for the treatment of their patients
* Assess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and collaborate with the referral and intake department.
* Work with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients and perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing care
* Provide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under their care
* Complete all documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframes
* Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA standards.



*Qualifications of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:*
* Two years of psychiatric inpatient clinical experience required
* Must be licensed as a PMHNP
* Must be licensed as an NP in West Virginia or show proof of application
* DEA required
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross



Compensation and Schedule:
* Annual salary starts around $120K but can be considerably more based on years of experience
* Monday - Friday schedule (8A - 5P) with some (paid) call
