Banyan Treatment Centers is expanding to Coatesville, PA, and we are looking for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients in our mental health and substance use disorder programs. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, managing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting life-changing outcomes for individuals navigating addiction and mental health challenges.

Position Details:
Location: Northeastern Pennsylvania, Luzerne County
Employment Type: Part-time (20-25 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (on-site); 1 weekend/month required; on-call required for scheduled days
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, including history and physical exams.
Perform tasks related to intake, detox protocols, and managing care for residential patients.
Provide follow-up evaluations and as-needed patient visits.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure integrated care.
Oversee infection control protocols and manage patient medication plans.
Document patient progress and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
Evaluate behavioral health needs and provide treatment recommendations.
Requirements:
Active ARNP license in Pennsylvania
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
1+ years of experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in acute care, detox, or mental health settings
Skills and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of clinical and ethical healthcare practices
Familiarity with state and federal confidentiality regulations
Exceptional assessment and communication skills
Empathetic and patient-centered approach.
Competency in assessing mental health, trauma, and other relevant conditions.
