Splunk is seeking a dedicated Principal Product Manager to craft the future of our next-gen AI/ML platform, serving our Security and Observability customers. In this role, you will outline key features and build a roadmap to deliver a high-scale, high-performance platform for our customers and app developers.What You Will Do:Own the vision and strategy to elevate our Machine Learning Platform.Use your knowledge of ML/LLM models and the AI/ML ecosystem to develop the platform.Collaborate with teams building solutions on the platform, including engineers, data scientists, and external partners.Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure their success.Develop product roadmaps that reflect market trends and customer needs.Define product specifications, user stories, and mockups, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams.Work with support and field teams to understand and address customer issues.Collaborate with marketing to build product content.Ensure products meet security, legal, and financial standards by working with relevant teams.Requirements:8+ years proven experience in technical product management, particularly in AI, machine learning platforms, and generative AI.Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and DevOps pipelines to enable smooth deployment and monitoring of ML models.Strong collaboration skills with Data Science Teams, CTO Office, Architects, and ML customers.Empathy for customers and focus on improving user experience.Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.Excellent communication skills to simplify sophisticated technical concepts.Desired Skills:Experience in building scalable AI capabilities through platform services, with a focus on generative AI and machine learning.Hands-on experience with ML platforms and frameworks like Databricks, MLFlow, Langchain, and Vector stores.Proven success in delivering AI-powered products that drive business growth.Deep understanding of the AI and cybersecurity market.Ability to continuously improve products at each stage of the product lifecycle.Experience in developing pricing strategies that drive business growth.Creativity, innovation, and a strong bias for action in product decision-making.Passion for solving challenging technical problems and creating user-friendly enterprise products.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. An MBA is preferred.
