Job Description
  • 24-hour in-house shift
  • Ongoing
  • Doc needs to be comfortable working super alone in a frontier-type community
  • Only ED doc curing the shift, 1 nurse and a tech on during the day and just a nurse on at night
  • Have 24/7 hospitalist coverage, who help with ED admits and codes
  • ED doc runs the codes with the nurse there
  • No surgery or ANE on site, but have tele-ED support at night
  • It's essentially a stand-alone ED
  • Average inpatient census is 4.5, 4k annual visits, and average 11.4 ED visits/day
