Gastroenterology
• Schedule:
• February - Ongoing
• 1-2 weeks per month (Monday to Sunday, 7 days)
• Monday - Thursday:
• 7:30 AM - 12 PM: Procedures
• 1 PM - 5 PM: Rounding/Consults
• Friday - Sunday: 24-hour call (7 AM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities:
• Moderate call requirements with 24/7 Hospitalist coverage.
• Manage a patient load of 10-15 and perform approximately 40 procedures weekly.
• Care for a mix of elective, urgent, and emergent inpatient/ER cases.
• Required procedures: Endoscopy and Colonoscopy.
• Support & Resources:
• Midlevel support provided at all times.
• Endo team available (nurses and techs).
• Admissions handled by the Hospitalist team.
• EMR System: EPIC.
