Jasco is looking for an intern for the Summer of 2025 for the Electrical Engineering Team!

Internship Projects:
New Product Development

• Assist the development team in designing and bringing to market one of our new SKU’s, with options from smart home products, lighting, power, and CE.
• Study competitors in the market place to identify key features and performance to build metrics  for our own products.
• Collaborate with JATC for testing and documentation uniformity.
• Assist OKC lab with testing procedures and documentation.

Product Improvement

• Work on supporting legacy products with conformance testing and identifying potential enhancements.
• Ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer expectations.
• Help implement productivity and quality improvements.

Regulatory Compliance and Assessment

• Preform risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in product safety documentation and evaluation.
• Investigate product in the market for non-compliance.

Supplier Coordination

• Support venders with new product development.
• Coordinate supplier quality programs ensuring a high level of safety.
• Develop relationships with existing suppliers through teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Should be pursuing education in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Must have technical skills focusing on electronics
• Must have basic understanding of the principles of product development
• Must be actively enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at the time of the internship
• Must be Sophomore status or above. Juniors and Seniors are preferred.
• Must be 18 or older on date of hire
• Will have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Will be enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with a desire to learn
