*Requirements of Nurse Practitioner:*
* Must have an active NY State License
* Must be Board Certified
* Must have at least 6 months of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

* The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 / yr
* This is a Full-time, Part-time, or Per-Diem position (minimum of 2 days a week)

*Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:*
* Develop and implement treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition or illness
* Conduct physical examinations and tests to diagnose conditions, infections, disease processes, etc.
* Provide advice to patients about health maintenance, hygiene practices, diet modification, medication use, etc.
* Perform diagnostic tests, such as wound culture, urinalysis, and blood tests
* Treat minor wounds, cuts, and other injuries using sterile techniques to prevent infection
* Provide educational services to patients regarding their illness or injury
* Order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or laboratory tests, to help determine the cause of an injury or illness
* Communicate with other healthcare team members to discuss patient care plans
* Provide counseling services to patients with behavioral health problems
