Job Description: Physician-Psychiatrist

Department: Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
Location: Chattanooga, TN

Facility dedicated to providing comprehensive care to clients with severe and persistent mental illness.

Role Overview:
As a Physician-Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric care to acute and/or sub-acute patients in our in-patient Regional Mental Health Institute (hospital). Your role is crucial in evaluating and treating patients with behavioral health issues, including psychiatric and addiction-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients to diagnose and treat behavioral health issues.
Complete and authenticate all necessary documentation.
Order and monitor treatments, tests, and medication regimens.
Provide expert recommendations to the court regarding commitments, conservatorships, and forensic evaluations.
Pay Rate: W2 $235,000 annually

Qualifications:
Must hold a Tennessee Medical License.
Completion of an accredited psychiatric residency program is required.
