POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently manages and coordinates day-to-day operations of the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) program for University Health (UH). This includes, but it is not limited to, TSN’s Peer Visitation Program, support groups, NextSteps Self-Management Class, Family Class and other support resources. Serves as a point of contact for program participants and hospital personnel. Implements all components of the TSN program at University Health to include facilitating educational and support groups, coordinating outreach and educational efforts that focus on the psychosocial concerns of trauma survivors and their families.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma required. A Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, business, marketing or related field is preferred. Experience working with the community as a public health educator is preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in project management is preferred.
