OR/PACU position
8 Hour Days (6:30a-3:00p) 4 days/week + 1-2 days of call/week and every 3rd weekend
32 guaranteed hrs/wk + call
IA or Compact RN License, BLS & ACLS
Common cases: T&A, BMT, ortho (joint replacements, arthroscopies, ORIF), general (laparoscopic and open procedures), OB/GYN (C-sections, lap, and vaginal hysterectomies), urology
-Average number of cases per day: 5-15 (Tuesdays and Fridays are our highest volume days)
-Ratios: 1-2 RN per OR with a ratio of 1:1 in PACU.
