Responsibilities
This position is responsible for setting up, running and maintaining a fiber laser cutting system. This position will be trained to operate and maintain a computer-controlled fiber
laser cutting system
•Operate Fiber Laser CNC Machine & Turret Punch Press.
•Load and unload large sheets of metal
•Offload and shake out completed metal parts
•Deburr and package completed metal parts
•Maintain timely production schedules
•Learn to adjust equipment settings based on type of material and material
thickness
•Review setup instructions and part specifications to determine setup procedures
•Measure completed parts for quality assurance
Work Environment - Production facility is not environmentally controlled. During the summer, operator is exposed to temperatures exceeding 95 degrees on a regular basis.
