My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new full-time Resolution Planning Associate Director opportunity available for a major firm located in Downtown, Manhattan that could be of interest to you. Please review my specification below. The work schedule will be hybrid, three days a week in the office and two days remote.The ideal candidate should possess a green card or be a citizen.The ideal candidate will serve as the drafting lead for the firm's U.S. Resolution Plan specific chapter on financial forecast, focusing on resolution strategy and scenario. They will be the key support for resolution liquidity, resolution capital, and other resolution forecast projects along with leading on key financial frameworks pertaining to resolution planning.Responsibilities:
Liaising with key stakeholders in between filing periods to ensure points of contact and content pertaining to the U.S. Resolution Plan remain relevant;Conducting ad-hoc analysis or tasks in support of the U.S. Resolution Plan narrative;Facilitating periodic validation of key U.S. Resolution planning assumptions;Conducting sensitivity analysis on U.S. Resolution Forecast;Supporting business-as-usual activities pertaining to the informational and supplemental filings of subsidiary Bank entity;Leading continuous improvement/automation projects in U.S. Resolution Forecasting;Liaising with U.S. Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, and Capital Planning to develop an automation strategy focused on the frequent estimates of resolution liquidity (RLEN/RLAP);Incorporating feedback from key stakeholders, senior management, and the Board of Directors;Working with the in-house technology team to develop a solution focused on periodic estimates of resolution capital (RCEN/RCAP);Facilitating capability testing for running a resolution type scenario and reporting the outcomes;Preparing initial drafts of the U.S. Resolution Plan financial forecast chapter;Performing quality assurance reviews to drive professional and consistent work product;Executing on strategic initiatives, as needed, in support of the long-term operating model of the Resolution Plan Team;Reviewing regulatory guidance and industry news to identify resolution planning requirements, best practices, and trends.What do you need to succeed?
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance and economics;Five to eight years of experience in banking or financial services focused around either resolution plan management, liquidity risk management, capital management at a financial institution, or as an auditor or consultant for banking clients;Detail-oriented and able to facilitate the development of a firm-wide framework for resolution planning;Expertise in independent production of management-ready documentation work products including prior experience in drafting significant policies, procedures, or chapters;Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple functions;Strong abilities in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Pluses:
Experience in Resolution Planning, Capital Planning, or CCAR stress testing for financial institutions;Experience in Workiva, Tableau, or Alteryx.The expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 plus an outstanding benefits and bonus structure.The interview process will include an initial telephone or Zoom screening.Please let me know your interest in this position, availability to interview, and start for this position along with a copy of your recent resume.
