    Certification Details
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in PACU at Rush University Medical Center
  • 2 years of PACU experience required
  • Float between 3 locations
  • Busy PACU with 100-120 cases per day
  • Patient ratios: Phase 1: 2:1, Phase 2: 3:1, ICU/IMCU 1:1 until stable
    Job Requirements
  • IL LICENSE MUST BE IN HAND
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required
  • 2 years of PACU experience
    Schedule Information
  • Negotiable 9am – 730pm
  • Variable/rotating shifts
  • On Call Requirement: Yes, 1 week night call per month - 8 hours 11p to 7am
  • 1 weekend call per month - 12 hours: 7a to 7p or 7p to 7a
    Unit Specific Information
  • Busy PACU with high patient turnover
  • Requires ability to float between multiple locations
