In this role, you will focus on the technical strategy, multi-year roadmap, and collaboration across all lines of business. Your expertise in software engineering and knowledge of public cloud and IAM will position you to influence peer technical partners and business stakeholders.What You’ll Do:Build and Lead engineering teams to reimagine workload identity and privileged credential management by implementing a modern Zero Trust Workload Identity PlatformWork with Product partners, and deliver robust solutions that drive automated capabilities supporting Cyber and IAMPartner with leaders across the enterprise to drive adoption of our automated capabilitiesLead complex vendor relationships and ensure well-managed integration of vendor platforms into our broader Capital One ecosystemDevelop and leverage trusted relationships across Architecture, Design, and other Technology leaders to ensure strategic alignment across key Cyber initiativesUtilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, and Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and servicesBring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communitiesEncourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversityCoach and mentor engineers through their career development and performanceBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeAt least 9 years of experience in software engineeringAt least 7 years of people leadership experienceAt least 7 years of experience with coding in one or more of the following languages: Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, RubyAt least 4 years of public cloud experience (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)At least 3 years of experience in leading enterprise platformsPreferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree4+ years of experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and delivery3+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices2+ years of experience in identity and access managementCapital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
