We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to fill an Operating Room (OR) position for a 13-week assignment in Arcata, CA. The successful candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing and excellent communication skills.
Job Description:
As a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the OR, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your primary duties will include:
* Assisting with surgeries and procedures, including preparing patients for anesthesia and monitoring their vital signs during surgery;
* Maintaining accurate records of patient information and treatment plans;
* Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans;
* Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families;
Instructions:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States;
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferably in the Operating Room (OR);
Ability to work day shifts (5x8) and maintain regular attendance;
Certifications: BCLS/BLS/ACLS;
