Must have strong proficiency in Robotics and Vascular. Ophthalmology strongly preferred in order to be considered for this position. 0645-1715 with standard call requirement (up to 4 8-hour shifts per 4-week cycle) SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements) Shift: 4x10 Days 0645 - 1715 Types of Cases REQ: Busiest Service Lines: Ortho (2 years of level 1-2 exp - including total joints and trauma), Neuro (2 years of level l-2 exp - including cranis), Gen/Trauma, Vascular, GYN/Uro, Robotics. Must be very comfortable with a busy Level 2 Trauma. Robotic Center of Excellence. We currently deploy 3 Xi robots and 2 DV5. Number of Beds/Cases: 60-70 per day Years of Experience REQ: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CST with the following skills: Eyes preferred(Vitrectomies, Scleral Buckles, Retina and Cataracts a must), General, Ortho and Neuro Trauma, basic Urology and Major Vascular (AAA). Scrubs must be able to function without a sales rep for: knees, hips, and if possible, shoulders. Level 2 trauma exp required, level 1 preferred. First-Timers Accepted: No, Travel experience required. Weekend REQ: Yes, see shift above. Certs REQ: CST credentials are required. They must have CST certification & BLS; ACLS is preferred. BLS REQ: Yes Is on-call REQ? Yes, (4) 8-hour call shifts per 4-week cycle. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD Locals Accepted: No Pending License Accepted: Yes RTO Restrictions: N/A Guaranteed Hours: 40 per Week Common Equipment: Doppler, ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, Video Systems, Lasers, Various Stapling systems, Hana and Jackson tables. STRONG EYE, AAA AND CRANIOTOMY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. AAAs, Carotids and Femoral cases are our most common vascular cases and require mastery right out of the gate.
